Dharan / Hiviskus English boarding School Dharan is going to organize the third district level Quiz competition
The school organized a press conference on Friday and gave information about organizing the event.
Pawan Jha, the counselor of the school informed that the program is going to be organized with the aim of increasing the intellectual ability of the students in addition to studies.
For the past two years, the school has been organizing Hiwiskus Quiz Mania (Attendance Answer Competition).
Adviser Jha said that for the past two years, Dharan city level competition has been completed and Sunsari district level competition is going to be organized this year.
Program coordinator Subas Moktan said that he is confident that 100 schools from across Sunsari district will participate in the competition.
The first team in the competition will receive 15,000 in cash, a running trophy, a medal and a certificate, while the second-placed team will receive 10,000 in cash, a medal and a certificate, informed Gangaram Rai, the managing director of the school.
The third place in the competition will receive 8000 cash, medal and certificate.
Similarly, the fourth place team will get 6,000 cash and a certificate, while the fifth place team will get 4,000 cash and a certificate. The consolation team will receive 2000 cash and a certificate.
The competition will be organized on the 12th and 13th of Push in the school premises. The top 6 teams selected in the first round will be allowed to participate in the final on the 13th. The first winner of the competition, which started in 2079, was Hibiscus English Wading School, while the second year winner was Nepal Police School.
